Choosing Your Share Class
Factors you should consider when choosing a class of shares include:
- How long you expect to own the shares;
- How much you intend to invest;
- Total expenses associated with owning shares of each class;
- Whether you qualify for any reduction or waiver of sales charges;
- Whether you plan to take any distributions in the near future; and
- Availability of share classes.
Each investor’s financial considerations are different. You should speak with your financial adviser to help you decide which share class is best for you as each class has a different combination of purchase restrictions, sales charges and ongoing fees, allowing you to choose the class that best meets your needs. Institutional Class
Institutional Class shares are offered without a sales charge to investors who make an initial investment of at least $250,000. Institutional Class shares pay no Rule 12b-1 or shareholder servicing fees.
Advisor Class
Advisor Class shares are offered without a sales charge primarily to investors using intermediary organizations such as broker-dealers or plan sponsors and retirement accounts. Advisor Class shares pay a Rule 12b-1 fee up to 0.25%, and a separate shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.25% of each Fund’s average daily net assets. The minimum initial investment is $2,500.
Investor Class
Investor Class shares are offered without a sales charge to all investors, including investors using intermediary organizations such as broker-dealers or plan sponsors and retirement accounts. Investor Class shares pay no Rule 12b-1 fee. Investor Class shares are subject to a separate shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.375% of the Fund’s average daily net assets. The minimum initial investment is $2,500.
Corporate investors should use this application
Select Funds
For corporate cash accounts, sweep accounts and other institutional investors. An initial investment of at least $1 million is required.
Retirement Class
Retirement Class shares are offered without a sales charge primarily to investors who invest through intermediary organizations, such as broker-dealers, insurance companies or third party administrators for small to mid-sized retirement plans. Retirement Class shares pay a Rule 12b-1 fee of up to 0.50% and a separate shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.25% of each Fund’s average daily net assets. The minimum initial investment is $2,500.
Y Class
Y Class shares are offered without a sales charge to all investors who make an initial investment of at least $100,000. Y Class Shares do not pay a Rule 12b-1 fee. Y Class shares are subject to a shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.10% of the Fund’s average daily net assets.
A Class
A Class shares of the Fund are available to investors using intermediaries such as broker-dealers, at their offering price, which is equal to the NAV per share plus the applicable front-end sales charge that you pay when you buy your A Class shares. The front-end sales charge is generally deducted directly from the amount of your investment. A Class shares are also subject to a Rule 12b-1 fee of up to 0.25% and a separate shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.25% of the Fund’s average daily net assets. The minimum initial investment is $2,500.
C Class
C Class shares are available to investors using intermediaries such as broker-dealers, at the Fund’s NAV per share, without an initial sales charge. If you sell your shares within 12 months after buying them, you will normally pay a CDSC of 1%. C Class shares also are subject to a Rule 12b-1 fee of up to 1.00% of the Fund’s average daily net assets and a separate shareholder servicing fee of up to 0.25% of the Fund’s average daily net assets. The minimum initial investment is $1,000.
