the core of sustainability

SGA believes that cash flow is the ultimate arbiter of value. Using that fundamental principle, the Fund seeks to generate high returns with low risk by investing in businesses showing sustainable growth, a strategy that is particularly valuable in the more volatile world of global investing.

The firm's investment approach is based on three principles:

  • Selectivity in company identification, focusing on companies that offer strong, predictable and sustainable growth.

  • Diligence in first-hand team-based research, focusing on investing with a long-term horizon.

  • Discipline in valuation, focusing on cash flow metrics that best reflect economic reality.

The Fund may invest in futures contracts, which are a type of derivative investment. Investing in derivatives could result in losing more than the amount invested. Investing in foreign securities entails additional risk not associated with domestic securities, such as currency fluctuations, economic and political instability and differences in accounting standards. The risks of investing in foreign equities are heightened when investing in emerging markets. Growth stocks are typically more volatile than value stocks; however, value stocks have a lower expected growth rate in earnings and sales. Because the Fund may invest in fewer issues than a more diversified portfolio, the fluctuating value of a single holding may have a greater impact on the value of the Fund. Please see the prospectus for a complete discussion of the Fund's risks. There can be no assurances that the investment objectives of this Fund will be met.
