Investment Objective
A multi-manager Fund seeking income and capital appreciation through investments in investment-grade debt obligations.
A STABLE APPROACH TO FIXED INCOME
The Fund seeks to provide a regular stream of
income with minimal principal volatility, by
investing in bonds with duration of three to seven
years and limited to investment-grade or higher
quality securities. It invests in a wide range of
debt obligations, including securities of the U.S.
government, its agencies and instrumentalities;
corporate bonds, notes and debentures;
mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities;
and other investments.
COMPLEMENTARY STYLES
The Fund is sub-advised by two complementary
fixed income managers:
-
Barrow: Seeks to "out-yield" the market by
constructing portfolios of undervalued or
mispriced securities and sectors.
-
American Beacon: Diversified sector rotator,
focusing on uncovering differences between
similarly rated issuers to capture relative value
opportunities.
