Equity Index Fund
A Fund seeking
to provide investment results that, before expenses, match the performance
of the Morgan Stanley Capital International EAFE Index as closely
as possible. The Fund invests all of its investable assets in the
Master International (Capitalization Weighted) Index Series ("Master
International Index Series") of the Index Trust. The Fund employs
a "passive" management approach, attempting to invest
in a portfolio of assets whose performance is expected to match
approximately the performance of the EAFE Index. The EAFE Index
is composed of equity securities of companies from various industrial
sectors whose primary trading markets are markets located outside
the United States.
